April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day. The Living Breath Foundation works with these children and helps their families.
One of the problems the foundation faces is the lack of public awareness of the topic of autism. Most adults don't know how to behave and interact with autistic people, who are often very talented people who are just a little introverted and different. But how can we teach this to children: to play together, to understand each other, to react correctly in different situations, not to offend or be offended?
We realized: we need to talk about this more often.
Our team contacted the House of Cinema, where the international animation festival begins, and agreed on cooperation. We recorded a short video with Yulia Gavrilyuk, where she talks about what their foundation does, who autists are, and then the audience will be shown a kind and bright cartoon “Anatole’s Saucepan”.
When: April 1, 2 and 3, 2023.
Thus, Krasnoyarsk parents will be able to learn about this problem if they did not know before;
teachers and educators will understand the importance of accepting and including children with ASD in the educational and educational processes, and children will see that there can be other children around them, and they can also be friends.
